Chimichurri Steak

I splurged this week and got some thin steak for a special dinner.
I also picked up some fresh herbs, so it just made sense to me to make some Chimichurri sauce.

It was super easy and SO delicious, we literally couldn’t stop eating it!
Quick and Easy Chimichurri Sauce

Quick Chimichurri Sauce

– 3/4 Cup Olive Oil
– 5 Cloves Garlic
– 1 Cup Parsley
– 2 Tbs Vinegar
– Juice from one lemon
– 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
– 1 tsp salt

Put all the ingredients into a food processor and pulse until well blended.

Make sure you don’t overcook that thin steak – nice and tender is the way to go, season just with salt and pepper.

  1. Seeing your post title made me hungry!! When I was in Argentina they cooked the steak as you suggested and just served a bit of chimichurri on the side…. After blood sausages were the first course. Oh… I miss Argentine beef!! Thanks for the idea for a future dinner.
