Who doesn’t love a good before and after picture?
Who isn’t inspired by the amazing 100lb transformation?
Here’s the thing. You see the before and after pictures side by side. It takes you less than a second to glance from one to the other. It takes no effort to glance from one to the other. The results are there and you love it, but the work and time and effort – that’s missing from a viewer’s experience.
So, are you ready for a super motivational before and after picture?
This is me on Day 1 of my fitness journey, and what I probably looked like on Day 2 (It’s the same picture, I didn’t take one every day).
Working out for 1 day is hard. Saying no to cravings and choosing healthy food when you aren’t used to it for 1 full day is hard. And you aren’t going to see ANY results after that 1 day. So you have a choice:
A) Trust the process, keeping doing what is hard and *believe* that you will get there.
B) Convince yourself that no *real* changes are taking place and fall back into old patterns.
NO ONE HAS AN AMAZING BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURE FROM 1 DAY.
When I first started I *determined* to workout for 100 days before expecting ANY results.
Every day that I worked out I marked it down. It took me 6 months before I could check off my 100th day.
I’m glad I didn’t give up after Day 1.
