Miso Glazed Salmon with Sauteed Broccoli and Brown Rice

photo 3

This Miso glaze is out of this world and incredibly simple. I put it on the salmon first and then I couldn’t bear for the last bit to go to waste, so I drizzled the rest on the broccoli I was sauteing.

Here’s what you need:

– Salmon
– White Miso
– Soy Sauce
– Rice Wine Vinegar
– Sesame Seeds

Whisk together 2 tsp miso, 1 tsp rice vinegar, 1 tsp soy sauce. Spread over salmon and broil for 6-9 minutes. Toast a few tsp of sesame seeds (be careful! They toast fast, but it’s SO worth the extra minute). Garnish salmon with sesame seeds – enjoy!

I paired this with some brown rice I had already cooked (I do this at the beginning in the week and then portion into ziplock bags and store in the fridge for a quick healthy side) and some broccoli.

  1. Hey there. Awesome blog! I’m on Day 6 of the Fix and feeling great. Can you tell me how you account for miso and soy sauce with the Fix containers? I don’t see either ingredient in the approved food lists, but I’m craving some miso soup and wondering if it is allowed. Thanks!
