Breaking my sugar addiction was one of the BIGGEST obstacles to becoming healthy. Drinking shakeology was my GREATEST weapon, but having healthy ‘treats’ was another wonderful weapon in my battle against the great white killer.
This treat was inspired by my childhood, my mom would only let us have fruit for our snacks so we would get around it by putting apple slices in a ziplock back with a little sugar and a little cinnamon and shaking it up. This variation uses Coconut Sugar and is perfectly satisfying.
What you need:
– 1 tsp Coconut Sugar
– a Dash of Cinnamon
Slice the apples, put them in a ziplock bag with the sugar and cinnamon, zip up and shake (it’s pretty fun).
