This just might be one of my ALL TIME favorite 21 Day Fix meals.
It came out of nowhere. I had ground turkey, I had sweet potatoes and I didn’t know what to make. I thought a spin on shepherd’s pie might be fun. I have found that ground turkey can be a little bland, so I spiced it up with equal parts Cumin, Chili Powder, Curry, and a tiny bit of Cinnamon.
The cabbage was just sauteed with a tiny bit of olive oil and then seasoned with soy sauce and garlic.
Then I diced the sweet potatoes and boiled them until tender. Mashed them up with coconut oil, cinnamon and salt. Just for fun I topped it with some toasted coconut flakes and put it in the oven to warm all together.
I LOVE this meal. I hope you do too!!!
(ps- if you don’t want to layer the sweet potatoes and ground turkey so that it’s easier to measure out in your 21 Day Fix containers it is still super yummy!)
